The Philosopher’s Eye is the companion forum to Wiley-Blackwell’s on-line survey journal, Philosophy Compass. The aim of the site is to provide regular thought-provoking coverage of real-world events with a critical, philosophical eye. These short tasters of philosophical brain-candy hopefully show:
- … how the tools of traditional philosophy can provide deeper, meaningful analysis of current affairs.
And similarly:
- … how events in the real world can shape the work of philosophers, and inform upon the puzzles, problems and paradoxes that they encounter.
These Viewpoints are diverse, provided by a talented team of graduate News Editors with a wide range of research interests. We also provide free, regular Teaching & Learning Guides for those who need reliable and up-to-date lesson plans. This is especially useful for all those teaching in an unfamiliar area.
Happy reflecting!
